"The Best Country Pub In Devon" - Voted within Devon Life
|
Church House InnThe Church House Inn is a delightful village pub and is something of a find. This grade 2 listed pub was the first pub in Devon to be listed in the Michelin Pub Guide and has been voted Devons Best Country Pub by readers of Devon Life magazine. The CHI at Marldon was originally built around 1400 and gave accommodation to the artisans working on the church, after which it became the meeting house for the church congregation and finally the Village Inn.
Private PartiesFour of the dining areas can be reserved for private functions. The menu is the same throughout unless by prior arrangement.

The Gallery
The Gallery Upstairs is very popular for meetings, seminars & also for private family gatherings. We have an overhead projector & screen with VGA & HDMI inputs, which can be used for presentations & slideshows. The Gallery has seating for 35 people, and opens directly onto the garden which and can add an extra dimension to any event (weather permitting).
Our CottagesLocated in the village of Marldon, our cottages are part of a Grade II listed 16 century Devon longhouse. Both cottages have been sympathetically renovated by the current owners to provide a contemporary luxurious feel to an old property.
With an abundance of places to visit and see in the immediate vicinity it is also an ideal location from which to explore the South Hams and Dartmoor. |
